Llegada al aeropuerto de Kathmandu, recogida por nuestro corresponsal y
traslado al hotel. (A los pies de la cordillera del Himalaya, donde aseguran
que moran sus dioses, se alza Nepal, una tierra de espectaculares paisajes,
templos y ciudades de rica herencia cultural. Estas parecen trasladar al
viajero a la época medieval en sus paseos por Kathmandu, Bhakapur (Bhadgoan)
y Patan, los tres núcleos urbanos que representan la columna
vertebral de país.)
La Plaza Durbar de Kathmandu: (Siglo
XII a Siglo XVIII, admirar la infinidad de su templo y palacio),
HANUMANDHOKA (El palacio real, con la enorme escultura del dios Kal Bhairav, la
plataforma de la coronación, el hall de la Audicia Pública, la estatua del rey
Pratap Malla y la Gran Campana) KUMARI CHOWK (Residencia de la diosa viviente,
es un templo de estuco de mediados del siglo XVIII, decorado con ventanas
intricadamente talladas ) KASTHAMANDAP (Templo de madera de un solo árbol,
Templo dedicado al gran yogui Goraknath, del siglo XVI), EL TEMPLO DE ASHOK
BINAYAK (En honor del hijo de Shiva Ganesha, el dios de la cabeza de elefante
que procura fortuna, es muy venerado en todo el país. FREAK STREET Y EL
TEMPLO DE LOS HIPPIES (que era muy famoso en la época de los hippies de Europa
en los años sesenta) TEMPLO TALEJU (El segundo Templo más alto del país)
We will have breakfast in the morning and then get ready to visit one of the beautiful place near Kathmandu valley, Nagarkot. On the way to Nagarkot we will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan which are listed in UNESCO World heritage site. We can see beautiful view of sunset and sunrise from Nagarkot along with the mountain range. Stay overnight at hotel. Honeymoon room set up in the hotel.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the most charming Architectural showpieces of the valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The Square contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces like the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the Picture Gallery, the Golden Gate, the palaces of 55 windows, the Batsala temple and the bell of barking dog etc.
Changunarayan: The temple of Changunarayan is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings and is said to be the oldest pagoda style temple in the valley. The temple, built around the 3rd century, is decorated by some of the best samples of stone, wood and metal craft in the valley. The courtyard has many other temples such as that of Kiloswar Shiva, Chhinnmasta Devi and other figures like Garuda, Vishnu and other deities.
Nagarkot (2175 m): It is one of the most popular mountain resort destinations in the Kathmandu Valley rim. Located 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nagarkot is a magnificent place to spend the night and awaken to view the sun rising across the wide Himalayan range of Langtang, Gaurisanker and Everest range. It is also the starting point of the valley rim trek for those who are in Nepal for short stay.
In morning we will have breakfast, enjoying the beautiful sunrise along with the mesmerizing view of Himalayas from the Nagarkot. We will head back to Kathmandu airport which will take around 1 and half hours. From Kathmandu airport we will take 25 minutes flight to Pokhara. After arrival in Pokhara we will head towards hotel. From there we transfer to Pokhara hotel. After having rest we will start Pokhara city sightseeing tour, at first we do boating in Fewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple. If we have enough time we can also drive to World Peace Stupa. Stay overnight at hotel.
Early morning drive to Sarangkot to see the sunrise and great panoramic view of Mt. Dhaulagiri including Annapurna range. After spending few hours there we will drive back to Pokhara and have breakfast in hotel. We will do the sightseeing around Pokhara at: Gupteshore Cave, David Fall, Seti Gorge, Pokhara International Mountaineering Museum Bindabasini Temple and Tibetan Refugee Camp. Overnight at hotel.
This day after breakfast we will head towards Dhampus, village nearby Pokhara. It takes around 2 hours to reach there by vehicle. Dhampus is the local village of Kaski, Nepal habituated by the ethic Gurung community. We can see small yet so beautiful houses in Dhampus as well as Himalays from Dhampus. This is one of the best destination where we can explore the rural area of Nepal along with the great view, lovely community and Himalayas as well. Couples can spend the cosy time during their stay in Dhampus. Overnight at hotel.
In morning, after breakfast we will drive back to Pokhara in private vehicle. This day we will take mid-day flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Free day in Kathmandu after arrival. Overnight at hotel.
