Bardia National park lies in the Western Terai of Nepal which has an area of 968 sq. km. and is one of the largest National Park in the lowland of Terai. There are many species of wild life found in Bardia National park, and among them Royal Bengal Tiger is one of the special endangered wild animal which can be seen here.
Bardia National Park is getting popular amongst the foreigner as well as domestic tourist in the recent days as we can see beautiful and unspoiled wilderness in the Terai of Nepal with the amazing view of forests and nearby lying Karnali river, one of the longest river of Nepal. We can also observe the local Tharu culture around Bardia along with the pure wildlife. We have more chances of seeing the wilderness as this national park is less unpopulated as compared to Chitwan National Park.
The journey to Bardia National Park begins either by taking the Flight from Kathmandu - Nepalgunj and then drive 39 km from there to Bardia. Also, it is possible to go by land via public / private transportation to Bardia National Park but the journey will be longer and more tiring via vehicle. But we can continue the journey to Bardia via vehicle while doing Buddhist Cultural Tour or any other tour as it takes about 6 hours (approx 267 km) from Lumbini to Bardia. We can see less number of tourists going to Bardia because of longer distance to be travelled, but on the other hand we can explore the beauty of real wilderness and forest during the Bardia National Park tour.
We can do jungle as well as other adventurous and fun activity during this tour. We can do jungle walk, bird watching, wilderness drive, wildlife rafting, tharu culture museum tour, tharu cultural dance adn visit Elephant Bredding center during the visit to Bardia National Park. Arrival
at Kathmandu airport, pick up by our correspondent and transfer to the hotel.

cultural heritage. These seem to transfer the traveler to medieval times on
their walks through KATHMANDU, BHAKTAPUR and PATAN, the three urban cities that
represent the backbone of the country. Stay overnight at hotel.
This day we will take flight from
Kathmandu airport to Nepalgunj which takes 40 minutes. After landing we will
have to take private vehicle for about 1 and half hours which is about 49 km. After
taking rest for a while we will visit the Elephant stable and then Tharu village
walk. Stay overnight at hotel / resort.
This day
we will enjoy the beautiful morning on Bardia. After breakfast we will head for
the adventure of the day which is Elephant back safari / jeep safari in jungle for
the half day. Then after we will take lunch and go for jungle walk. If we are
lucky we get to see the Tiger, and we can see other wildlife like: Deer, Asian
Elephant, one horned Rhino and others. Stay overnight at hotel.
Early morning Bird watching trip and after returning from
Bird watching trip we will have breakfast in the hotel. Then after we ride back
to Nepalgunj airport and then take via scenic flight of 40 minutes to reach
Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel.
After breakfast will visit different
places which are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site: Kathmandu Durbar Square,
Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath today. Stay overnight at hotel.
Bouddhanth: Boudhhanath stupa is
one of the largest Buddhist stupa in the world. The Stupa 100 meters in
diameter, was built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels by the
Lichchivi King Mana Deva in the 15th century. The pinnacle of this
stupa represent the stages of enlightenment, symbol of royalty, compassion,
knowing and nirvana. There are many myths about the origins of the Stupa. Early
morning and evening are the times to visit Bouddha to join the local residents
in Kora. There is an enclosure with several monasteries of the different
schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
Pashupatinath:
Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred temples in Nepal. The temple
of Pashupatinath is a large double roofed pagoda of brass and gilt gold; the
gateway is plated with silver. There are linga images of Shiva along with
statues, shrines and temples dedicated to other deities in the temple complex.
There are rows of Shiva shrines and Hindu pilgrims from all over South Asia
offering worship to Shiva, the Lord of Destruction. Entrance to the temple
precinct is permitted to the Hindus only. However, visitors can clearly see the
temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the vantage
point across the bank of the Bagmati River.
Enjoy your last day on Kathmandu before
departure. At your mentioned departure time our correspondent will pick you up
