Khopra Dada Trek can be done in all season and 12 months a year, but there will be different weather depending on the time to trek as mentioned below:
Spring (March – May): This is the best tine for
trekking in overall Nepal as well as Khopra. We can enjoy the colourful
Rhododendron forest and blooming flowers while trekking in March – April.
Monsoon (June - August): This is the monsoon
season in Nepal due wto which the weather will be humid and rainy while trekking.
We can see the hills and valley starting to bloom the flowers but there is less
chance to see the mountains while trekking. Also there is risk of leeches and
heavy rain due to which monsoon is the least preferable time for trekking in Nepal.
Autumn (mid-September – mid November): Autumn
is also the best time for trekking in Khopra and overall Nepal. We can see
clear skies, perfect weather, less chances of snow and not so very cold with the
high chance to see mountains. Also, we can observe different festivals (Dashain
/Tihar) being celebrated if we visit Nepal during October.
Winter (mid-November – February): The skies are clear but it can be very cold and the chances of walking in snow is high during winter. But winter is also best time to visit Khopra as mountains look beautiful during winter season.
